PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air intake duct for cooling an on-vehicle battery, the air intake duct being able to collect moisture contained in air taken in a duct and also reduce pressure loss with respect to the flow of air.SOLUTION: An air intake duct 30 for cooling on-vehicle battery, which supplies air to an on-vehicle battery 2 and cools it, comprises: a duct body 38 having an intake port 32, an exhaust port 34, and a communication passage 36 allowing communication between the air intake port and the exhaust port; and a plurality of water reservoir parts 44 provided facing the communication passage 36 and in a duct bottom 46 located in a vertically lower position in the duct body 38. Each reservoir part 44 is formed in a recessed shape so as to collect moisture contained in air taken from the air intake port 32. Each reservoir 44 in the recessed shape has: a partition wall provided upward in an air flow direction; and an inclination face 50 inclining upwards from the upstream side to the downstream side with respect to the air flow direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】車載電池冷却用の吸気ダクトにおいて、ダクト内に取り込まれた空気に含まれる水を溜めることができると共に、上記空気の流れに対する圧力損失を低減する。【解決手段】車載された電池2に向けて空気を供給して冷却するための車載電池冷却用の吸気ダクト30であって、吸気口32と、排気口34と、吸気口および前記排気口間を連通する連通路36とを有するダクト本体38と、ダクト本体38内の鉛直下方に位置するダクト底面46において連通路36に面して設けられた複数の水溜り部44とを備える。水溜り部44は吸気口32から取り込まれた空気に含まれる水を溜め得るよう凹状にそれぞれ形成され、凹状の各水溜り部44は、空気の流れ方向に沿って立設された仕切り壁部と、空気の流れ方向に関して上流側から下流側へ上り傾斜した傾斜面50とを有する。【選択図】図1
