PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology that drives an auxiliary engine at a variable speed depending on a revolving speed of a main engine, without use of an inverter.SOLUTION: A marine power supply system of a ship comprises a propulsion system that includes a main engine, a propeller, and a propeller shaft directly connected to the main engine to transfer power to an auxiliary engine propeller from the main engine. The marine power supply system comprises a shaft generator that generates electric power through the use of rotation of an auxiliary engine propeller shaft, an auxiliary engine that changes the required power depending on a revolving speed of the main engine, and wiring that connects an auxiliary engine shaft generator and the auxiliary engine together to directly supply the generated electric power of the shaft generator to the auxiliary engine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
