PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for securing higher safety in various types of maintenance inspection works for an elevator.SOLUTION: The maintenance operation monitoring system for an elevator, includes: a travel control device 2 for controlling a traveling operation of a car 1; a monitoring device 10 for monitoring maintenance work performed by a maintenance worker 7; a maintenance inspection terminal 6 operated by the maintenance worker 7 during the maintenance work; a worker communication terminal 14; and a management terminal 16. The travel control device 8 includes a communication control section 9 for transmitting a maintenance lifting signal S to the monitoring device 10 when detecting an instruction for a lifting operation of the car 1 via the maintenance inspection terminal 6. The monitoring device 10 includes: a signal reception section 21 for receiving the maintenance lifting signal S; a warning transmission section 22 for transmitting a warning to the worker communication terminal 14 when the signal reception section 21 receives the maintenance lifting signal; and a necessity determination section 23 for determining the necessity of the warning to the management terminal 16. When the necessity determination section 23 determines the necessity, the warning transmission section 22 transmits a warning also to the management terminal 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
