PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve uniformity of movable speed of a reflection surface.SOLUTION: A drive device of an optical deflector moving a reflection surface by deformation generated when voltage is applied to a first piezoelectric part and a second piezoelectric part, which are adjacent to each other, comprises: first application means for applying first drive voltage having a predetermined wave form to the first piezoelectric part; second application means for applying second drive voltage having a different wave form from that of the first drive voltage to the second piezoelectric part; and control means for controlling drive of the first application means and the second application means. The control means performs control to make first start time at which the first application means starts applying the first drive voltage different from second start time at which the second application means starts applying the second drive voltage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 20
