PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail inspection system and inspection method capable of highly accurately detecting a signal caused by deterioration in the initial stage of the deterioration by discriminating between the signal caused by the deterioration and the signal caused by a fixed structure and capable of easily specifying the position of the deterioration in a handrail.SOLUTION: The handrail inspection system includes a magnetic sensor and a data processing device. The data processing device includes a marker recognition part, a fixed structure recognition part, a signal position division part which divides signal data into a plurality of ranges on the basis of the position of the signal of a marker and the position of the signal of the fixed structure, a signal determination part which determines the deterioration of the handrail, and a display part which displays the determination result. The signal determination part performs the determination processing of the deterioration of the handrail on the basis of a decision criterion set for each divided range and the display part displays the signal data, the determination result, and the divided ranges.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】劣化に起因する信号と既定構造に起因する信号とを区別して、劣化の初期段階で劣化に起因する信号を高い精度で検出し、かつ、ハンドレールにおける劣化の位置を簡単に特定することが可能なハンドレール検査システムおよび検査方法を提供する。【解決手段】磁気センサとデータ処理装置とを備え、上記データ処理装置は、マーカー認識部と、既定構造認識部と、マーカーの信号の位置と既定構造の信号の位置に基づき、信号データを複数の範囲に分割する信号位置分割部と、ハンドレールの劣化を判定する信号判定部と、この判定の結果を表示する表示部とを有し、上記信号判定部は、分割された上記範囲ごとに定められた判定基準に基づいてハンドレールの劣化の判定の処理を行い、上記表示部は、上記信号データ、上記判定の結果および分割された上記範囲を表示する。【選択図】図2
