PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control device of a railway vehicle, which can extend a life of a component of a pump, a motor and the like.SOLUTION: One aspect of the present invention has a damper 5 for vibration control, which is provided between a vehicle body 2 and a truck 3 so as to suppress vibrations generated in the vehicle body 2. The damper 5 for vibration control comprises a semi-active damper that comprises a cylinder 10, a pump 31 that supplies a hydraulic fluid to the cylinder 10, and a motor 32 that drives the pump 31. A vibration control device 8 of the railway vehicle 1 includes a vibration control controller 6 that controls a revolving speed of the motor 32 to make it lower than a necessary maximum revolving speed, under specific conditions during the traveling of the railway vehicle 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】ポンプやモータなどの構成部品の寿命の延伸を図ることができる鉄道車両の制振装置を提供する。【解決手段】本発明の一態様は、車体2に生じる振動を抑えるために当該車体2と台車3との間に設けられた制振用ダンパ5を有し、制振用ダンパ5は、シリンダ10を備えるセミアクティブダンパと、シリンダ10へ作動油を供給するポンプ31と、ポンプ31を駆動させるモータ32と、を備える鉄道車両1の制振装置8において、鉄道車両1の走行時における特定の条件下にて、モータ32の回転数を必要最大の回転数よりも低く制御する制振コントローラ6を有する。【選択図】図2
