PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object determination device which can determine accurately, an object which is projected on an image.SOLUTION: A vehicle 1 is configured so that, an object determination device 13 (ECU) comprises: first identification means 131 for identifying a first region where an object is projected, in an image; second identification means 134 for identifying a specific boundary part in which, a grade direction of an image feature amount is one direction, and a distribution range in the first region is larger than a distribution range in other boundary part where, a grade direction of the image feature amount is other direction, out of boundaries of the object where, a magnitude of a grade of the image feature amount is equal to or more than a prescribed amount, in the first region; and determination means 136 for determining an object, on the basis of a first parameter indicating a length of the first area, and a second parameter indicating a length of the specific boundary part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】画像に写っている物体を精度よく判別する物体判別装置を提供する。【解決手段】車両1において、物体判別装置13(ECU)は、物体が写っている第1領域を画像中で特定する第1特定手段131と、第1領域内で、画像特徴量の勾配の大きさが所定量以上となる物体の境界のうち、画像特徴量の勾配の方向が一の方向となり、且つ、画像特徴量の勾配の方向が他の方向となる他の境界部分よりも第1領域内での分布範囲が大きくなる特定境界部分を特定する第2特定手段134と、第1領域の長さを示す第1パラメータと特定境界部分の長さを示す第2パラメータとに基づいて、物体を判別する判別手段136とを備える。【選択図】図1
