PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake driving device that can be made compact and low-cost.SOLUTION: A brake driving device comprises: an electric motor 2; a metallic feed screw part 3 connected to a motor shaft 15 of the electric motor 2; and a push rod part 5 which comprises a resin-made feed nut part 4 that the feed screw part 3 meshes with, and moves reciprocally and linearly together with the feed nut part 4 as the feed nut part 4 and feed screw part 3 rotate relatively as the motor shaft 15 rotates so as to generate braking force of a brake device 100; and a housing 6 supporting the push rod part 5 in a reciprocally and linearly movable state, either of contact faces 24a, 33a, 34a, and 46a of push rod part 5, and support faces 6e, 6f, 6g, and 6h of the housing 6 provided corresponding to those contact faces 24a, 33a, 34a, and 46a and supporting them being resin faces.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
