PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized exhaust heat recovery system having a simple structure and that can be replaced with a part of an existing pipe.SOLUTION: This invention relates to an exhaust heat recovery system 10 in which an exhaust pipe 12 provided with heat exchanging means 20 and a bypass pipe 14 acting as a bypass flow passage for exhaust gas have a distribution case 16 and a merging case 18 in common. The bypass pipe 14 has a thickness of the exhaust pipe 12 in its arrangement direction that is equal to or less than a half of a feeding-in side exhaust gas pipe 4a and a sectional area is equal to or more than a sectional area of a feeding-in side exhaust gas pipe 4a. The exhaust pipe 12 is configured to have a pressure loss that is coincidence with that of the bypass pipe 14. The distribution case 16 is provided with an exhaust pipe opening part 12a, a bypass pipe opening part 14a and a damper 22 for closing any one of the two opening parts. A rotating shaft 22a of the damper 22 is arranged to engage on an extended line of the center axis of the feeding-in side exhaust gas pipe 4a, and arrangement angles of the exhaust pipe opening part 12a and the bypass pipe opening part 14a have an approximation relation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】小型で、簡易な構造とし、かつ既存配管の一部に対して差し替え交換可能な排熱回収装置を提供する。【解決手段】熱交換手段20を備えた排気管12と、排ガスの迂回流路であるバイパス管14とが、分配ケース16と、合流ケース18とを共有している排熱回収装置10であって、バイパス管14は、排気管12の配置方向の厚みを導入側排ガス管4aの半分以下とし、かつ断面積が導入側排ガス管4aの断面積以上に構成し、排気管12は、圧力損失がバイパス管14と一致するように構成し、分配ケース16には、排気管開口部12aと、バイパス管開口部14aと、2つの開口部のいずれか一方を閉塞するダンパー22が備えられ、ダンパー22の回転軸22aは導入側排ガス管4aの中心軸の延長線上に掛かるように配置され、排気管開口部12aと、バイパス管開口部14aの配置角度を近似させていることを特徴とする。【選択図】図1
