PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic brake device for an elevator capable of enhancing responsibility of armature in a simple structure without expanding outer shape of outer pole face formed in a periphery of an electromagnetic coil.SOLUTION: In this brake device, a surface structure on an armature 3 side of an iron core 2 is devised to: form, in a periphery of the iron core 2 encasing an electromagnetic coil 1 in a receiving recessed part 5, a substantially annular non-contact area 6 in which the coil 1, when electrified to become in a magnetized state with an electromagnetic force applied, does not contact with the armature 3; to form a substantially annular outer magnetic pole surface 7 between an inner side of the non-contacting part 6 and a periphery of the coil 1; and an inner magnetic pole surface 8 on an inner side of the coil 1; as well as to form brake spring attachment holes 9A to 9F, each as a cylindrical recessed part attached with a brake spring 10, arranged in a recessed local area in the outer magnetic pole surface 7 so that an eddy current flowing in a circumferential direction of the outer magnetic pole surface 7; to protrude the outer magnetic pole surface 7 and the inner magnetic pole surface 8 to the armature 3 side with respect to the non-contacting part 6, so that the coil 1, when electrified to become in the electromagnetic force applied state, contacts with the armature 3; and reduce an area of the outer magnetic pole surface 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】電磁コイルの外周部に形成される外磁極面の外形を大きくせずに簡単な構造でアマチュアの応答性を向上できるエレベータ用電磁ブレーキ装置を提供する。【解決手段】このブレーキ装置では、鉄心2のアマチュア3側の面構造が工夫され、収納凹部5に電磁コイル1が収納された鉄心2の外周部にコイル1が通電された励磁状態の電磁力作用時にアマチュア3と接触しない略環状の非接触部6を形成し、非接触部6の内側とコイル1の外周部との間に略環状の外磁極面7、コイル1の内側に内磁極面8を形成する他、制動ばね10が装着される円筒状凹部としての制動ばね装着用穴9A〜9Fを外磁極面7の円周方向に流れる渦電流を減少させるように外磁極面7の局部を抉り込んで形成し、外磁極面7及び内磁極面8をコイル1が通電された電磁力作用時にアマチュア3と接触するように非接触部6よりもアマチュア3の側に突出させ、外磁極面7の面積を小さくしている。【選択図】図1
