PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive control apparatus, a drive control method, and a drive control program which enable the change of a distance to be maintained relatively to an obstacle in accordance with a surrounding environment, and the control of a vehicle so as to not hamper the passage of another vehicle.SOLUTION: A drive control apparatus includes: a safe zone initial setup part for initial-setting a safe zone that is specified to enclose surroundings of a vehicle and to stop the vehicle immediately before an obstacle is detected inside the zone; an obstacle detection part for detecting an obstacle existing the surroundings of the vehicle; a surrounding environment determination part for determining whether an obstacle exists in a progress direction of the vehicle; a vehicle condition determination part for determining whether the vehicle is stopped for a given period of time, in a case where the obstacle is determined to exist in the progress direction of the vehicle; a safe zone change part for reducing a length of the safe zone in a part of the progress direction of the vehicle, in a case where the vehicle is determined to be stopped for the given period; and a vehicle control part for causing the vehicle to travel so that no obstacle is detected in the safe zone.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】周囲の環境に応じて障害物との間に保つ距離を変更することができるとともに、他の車両の通行の妨げにならないように車両の運転を制御することができる運転制御装置、運転制御方法及び運転制御プログラムを提供する。【解決手段】運転制御装置は、車両の周囲を囲むように規定され、内部に障害物が検知される直前に車両を停止させる安全領域を初期設定する安全領域初期設定部と、車両の周囲に存在する障害物を検知する障害物検知部と、車両の進行方向に障害物が存在するか否かを判断する周辺環境判断部と、車両の進行方向に障害物が存在すると判断された場合、車両が所定時間停止しているか否かを判断する車両状況判断部と、車両が所定時間停止していると判断された場合、安全領域の進行方向部分の長さを縮小する安全領域変更部と、安全領域内に障害物が検知されないように車両を走行させる車両制御部とを備える。【選択図】図1
