PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve pedestrian protection performance and occupant protection performance in a front collision.SOLUTION: A collision discrimination device comprises: two first members 1F and 1C arranged while spaced away from each other in a longitudinal direction in the front part of a vehicle, and having a surface extended in a vertical direction and a vehicle width direction; four second members 2 (2L, 2R, etc.) connecting the two first members 1F and 1C vertically/laterally, respectively, and having a space expanding and opening outward in a longitudinal middle part; two pressure tubes 3L and 3R that are supported by the first members 1F and 1C, and which are inserted through predetermined two spaces each among the four second members 2; a pressure sensor 4 that outputs a signal according to a pressure value or a pressure change of each of the pressure tubes 3L and 3R; and a controller 17 that discriminates a collision position in a vehicle front collision based on a combination of the number of crushed places for each of the pressure tubes 3L and 3R grasped from the signal of the pressure sensor 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
