PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device capable of significantly saving power for operating a rotary actuator to turn a rudder during turning of a vessel, while reducing energy loss incurred by the rudder during straight advancement of the vessel.SOLUTION: A vessel comprises a pair of right and left rudder plates 1 controlled to vertically move by hydraulic cylinders 3, so that both of the rudder plates 1 of the pair are exposed above a water surface when the pair of right and left rudder plates 1 are at the same height, to advance the vessel straight. When the vessel is turned to either right ward or leftward, one of the rudder plates 1 is lowered into the water to a predetermined depth corresponding to a turning angle, while the other one of the rudder plates 1 is raised to turn a bow. Thereby, energy loss at straight advancement and turning can be significantly reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】船舶の直進時の舵によるエネルギー損失を少なくし、かつ旋回時は舵を旋回させる旋回アクチュエータ作動において大幅な省エネを図れる操舵装置を提供する。【解決手段】船舶に装備される左右一対の舵板1は、それぞれ油圧シリンダー3で昇降自在に制御され、左右一対の舵板1が同一高さにある時、一対の舵板1は共に水面上に露出され、船舶は直進する。また、船舶が左右何れかの方向に旋回するときは、一方の舵板1を旋回角度に応じて所定の深さまで下降・浸水させ、他方の舵板1は上昇させて船首を旋回させる。これにより、直線走船時と旋回時のエネルギーロスを大幅に削減することができる。【選択図】図1
