PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vessel electric propulsion device capable of performing efficient propulsion force control by reducing an energy loss generated during vessel navigation, and a propulsion force control device.SOLUTION: In an electric propulsion device 10, in a first control mode, a governor control unit 35A maintains the rotational speed of an engine 33 at a first setting speed (750 min), and a CPP control unit 35B variably controls the pitch of a CPP 31 so as to be a target pitch. In a second control mode, the CPP control unit 35B maintains the CPP 31 at a reference pitch, and the governor 35A controls the rotational speed of the engine 33 within an engine speed range so as to match a vessel characteristic curve.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】船舶の航行時に生じるエネルギー損失を低減して効率の良い推進力制御を行うことが可能な船舶用電気推進装置、及び推進力制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】電気推進装置10において、第1制御モードでは、ガバナ制御部35Aがエンジン33の回転速度を第1設定速度(750min−1)に維持し、CPP制御部35BがCPP31のピッチを目標ピッチとなるように可変制御する。また、第2制御モードでは、CPP制御部35BがCPP31を基準ピッチを維持し、ガバナ制御部35Aが舶用特性曲線に沿うように前記機関速度範囲内でエンジン33の回転速度を制御する。【選択図】図1
