PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of an unnecessary shift change when a travel of a vehicle is controlled by automatic cruise control or a speed limiter.SOLUTION: There is provided an engine control system in which a virtual request accelerator opening degree 661 is calculated based on a cruise request torque, filter processing for the virtual request accelerator opening degree 661 is performed, and after filtering, a virtual request accelerator opening degree 671 is calculated and a transmission control apparatus is controlled based on the virtual request accelerator opening degree 671. In the system, an actual request accelerator opening degree 201 is compared with the virtual accelerator opening degree 671 after filtering, one of the actual request accelerator opening degree 201 and the virtual accelerator opening degree 671, which is larger, is selected as a final request accelerator opening degree 681, and is outputted to the transmission control apparatus.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

    【課題】オートクルーズコントロール或いはスピードリミッタにより車両の走行が制御されている場合に不要なシフトチェンジが生じることを防止する。【解決手段】クルーズ要求トルクに基づいて仮想要求アクセル開度661を算出し、仮想要求アクセル開度661をフィルタ処理してフィルタ処理後仮想要求アクセル開度671を算出し、フィルタ処理後仮想要求アクセル開度671に基づいてトランスミッション制御装置を制御するエンジン制御装置において、実要求アクセル開度201と、フィルタ処理後仮想要求アクセル開度671とを比較して、大きい方の要求アクセル開度201、671を最終要求アクセル開度681として選択し、トランスミッション制御装置に出力することを特徴とする。【選択図】図5
