PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular stop holding device which can securely perform auto-hold control matching an occupant intention to stop.SOLUTION: A stop holding device 1 is provided that comprises: a foot brake device 3 capable of braking a wheel 11 via a hydraulic brake mechanism 20; a DSC (Dynamic Stability Control) device 4; and an ECU 6 maintaining a stop state by holding brake hydraulic pressure Pb corresponding to a depressing operation of a brake pedal 10 when a stopped state of a vehicle V is detected. The stop holding device 1 also comprises: biological information acquisition means 63 that acquires biological information of an occupant; a stop intention determination part 6d that determines an occupant intention to stop the vehicle V according to a degree of concentration or tension of the occupant on the basis of the biological information; and a DSC control part 6b that inhibits execution of auto-hold control if an occupant intention to stop the vehicle V is not determined by the stop intention determination part 6d.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
