PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve suppression of harmonic noise while preventing destruction of a power semiconductor caused by a short-circuit current even when a switching time varies.SOLUTION: The power converter, having a first switching element and a second switching element connected in series to each other, switches a voltage applied to a gate voltage of the first switching element from a transient gate voltage to an on-gate voltage according to a gate voltage or a drain current of the second switching element.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
