PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an autonomous travel vehicle which is designed less likely to sandwich an object between the vehicle body and ascending/descending means.SOLUTION: In an autonomous travel vehicle where ascending/descending means is provided to the vehicle body, the ascending/descending means is pivotally supported at the end edge part thereof by an upper part of the vehicle body, and is configured to rotate around a shaft at the end edge part to be able to perform an ascending/descending. When the ascending/descending means is positioned at a lower descending limit relative to the vehicle body, on the upper part of the vehicle body where the ascending/descending means approaches, a recess is formed to keep a space between the ascending/descending means and the upper part of the vehicle body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
