PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railway vehicle with an impact energy absorbing structure which can mitigate an impact at a collision without impairing safety of a crew and the like.SOLUTION: A railway vehicle with an impact energy absorbing structure for absorbing an impact energy includes a vehicle body having the impact energy absorbing structure comprising: an underframe constituting a floor surface; lower beams fixed to end beams provided at end parts of a longitudinal direction of the underframe; a first end part floor mounted above the end beam and the lower beam; a pair of gangway frame columns constituting a gangway frame, and provided on an upper surface of a front end part in a middle part of a width direction of the first end part floor; corner columns disposed on the upper surface of the front end part at end parts of the width direction of the first end part floor; and a crew room provided behind the corner columns. Each of the gangway frame columns has a rectangular cross section with its longitudinal dimension greater than its lateral dimension, and a middle part of a longitudinal direction of the lower beam is arranged below a rear end of the gangway frame column fixed to the first end part floor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】本発明の課題は、乗務員等の安全性を損なうことなく、衝突時の衝撃を緩和できる衝突エネルギ吸収構造を備える鉄道車両を提供することである。【解決手段】衝突エネルギを吸収する衝突エネルギ吸収構造を有する鉄道車両であって、鉄道車両の車体は、床面をなす台枠と、台枠の長手方向の端部に備えられる端梁に固定される下梁と、端梁と前記下梁の上部に載置される第1端部床と、第1端部床の幅方向の中央部の前端部の上面に備えられるとともに貫通路枠を構成する一対の貫通路枠柱と、第1端部床の幅方向の端部の前端部の上面に備えられる隅柱と、隅柱の後方に備えられる乗務員室と、を備える衝突エネルギ吸収構造を有しており、貫通路枠柱は、長手方向寸法が幅方向寸法より大きい長方形断面を有するとともに、第1端部床に固定される貫通路枠柱の後端部の下方に下梁の長手方向の中央部が位置することを特徴とする。【選択図】図4
