PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a duct which can improve sound absorption performance, and its manufacturing method.SOLUTION: In a duct, a pair of groove forming members 21, 21 constituted of sound absorption sheets 30 are arranged so that groove openings 21A abut on each other, a pair of flange parts 22, 22 which hang out to the outside from groove opening edges 21B out of a pair of the groove forming members 21, 21 are joined to each other in an overlapped state. In the pair of the flange parts 22, 22, seal parts 23 which are formed by the crimp of the sound absorption sheets 30, 30 at portions along the groove opening edges 21B of the flange part 22 are arranged as joining regions of the pair of the flange parts 22, 22, and outside heavy-thickness parts 24 which hang out to the outside from the seal parts 23, and in which the sound absorption sheets 30 are increased in thicknesses thicker than the seal part 23 are arranged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】吸音性能の向上を図ることが可能なダクト及びその製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】ダクトは、吸音シート30で構成された1対の溝形部材21,21が溝開口21Aを突き合わせるように配置され、1対の溝形部材21,21のうち溝開口縁21Bから外側に張り出した1対の鍔部22,22同士が重ね合わされた状態で接合されている。1対の鍔部22,22には、鍔部22の溝開口縁21Bに沿った部分の吸音シート30,30同士が圧着されてなるシール部23が1対の鍔部22,22の接合部位として設けられると共に、シール部23から外側に張り出し且つシール部23よりも吸音シート30が厚肉となった外側厚肉部24が設けられている。【選択図】図4
