PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a conventional signal security system has a room for improvement to quickly cope with an unexpected situation, such as a car failure due to the accompaniment of difficulty when trains are caused to approach each other not at a block boundary but at an optional point because an occupation range by each train is set in a block unit that is regulated in advance.SOLUTION: A train safety device includes a communication part for transmitting and receiving telegraphic messages circulated between trains and railway line devices within an area of a prescribed travel track, and a safety logic part for preparing or updating a telegraphic message and outputting the telegraphic message to the communication part. The safety logic part varies a division range of a block on the basis of a command to change the setting of an occupation range and changes the setting of the occupation range in response to a telegraphic message including a train occupation range by dividing the travel track into blocks to use the blocks as a unit as information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】従来の信号保安システムでは、各列車による占有範囲が予め規定されたブロック単位で設定されるため、列車同士をブロック境界ではなく任意の地点で接近させることには困難性を伴うことになり、車両故障のような不測の事態に迅速に対処するためには改善の余地があった。【解決手段】列車保安装置は、所定の走行路のエリア内の列車及び沿線機器との間で回覧される電文を送受信する通信部と、電文を作成または更新して前記通信部へ出力する保安論理部とを備え、保安論理部は、走行路をブロックに分割し当該ブロックを単位とした列車の占有範囲を情報として含む電文に対して、占有範囲の設定を変更する指令に基づきブロックの分割範囲を可変にして占有範囲の設定を変更する。【選択図】図1
