PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a master controller for a railway vehicle in which only a cam switch whose state reaches to use limit can be replaced.SOLUTION: A master controller for a railway vehicle comprises: a handle 1; a cam shaft 2 which rotates in linkage to an operation of the handle; plural cam protrusions 31-36 arranged on the cam shaft with intervals in an axial direction; and plural cam switches 41-46 which are pressed by the cam protrusions and turned on. The master controller further comprises counting means 61-66 for individually counting the numbers of turning-on of the cam switches 41-46 for each of the cam switches 41-46.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
