PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor and a traffic management system provided with it, and an image processing method which can correctly reproduce the colors of a traffic light included in a picked-up image around the traffic light.SOLUTION: An image processor 10 includes an image acquisition part 13, a signal detection part 16, a color determination part 17, and a color setting part 18. The image acquisition part 13 acquires an infrared image from a camera 103 for imaging a periphery of a traffic light. The signal detection part 16 detects the area of the traffic light included in the infrared image acquired by the image acquisition part 13. The color determination part 17 acquires control information of the traffic light from a signal control device 104 for controlling the traffic light, and determines the colors of the traffic light corresponding to an imaging time of the infrared image on the basis of the control information. The color setting part 18 performs color arrangement processing so as to be the colors of the traffic light determined by the color determination part 17 of the area of the traffic light included in the infrared image detected by the signal detection part 16, and outputs an image having a colored area of the traffic light.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】信号機周辺の撮像画像に含まれる信号機の色を正確に再現することが可能な画像処理装置およびこれを備えた交通管理システム、画像処理方法を提供する。【解決手段】画像処理装置10は、画像取得部13、信号検出部16、色判定部17、色設定部18を備えている。画像取得部13は、信号機周辺を撮像するカメラ103から赤外線画像を取得する。信号検出部16は、画像取得部13において取得された赤外線画像に含まれる信号機の領域を検出する。色判定部17は、信号機を制御する信号制御装置104から信号機の制御情報を取得して、当該制御情報に基づいて赤外線画像の撮像時刻に対応する信号機の色を決定する。色設定部18は、信号検出部16において検出された赤外線画像に含まれる信号機の領域に、色判定部17において決定された信号機の色になるように配色処理を行い、信号機の領域がカラー化された画像を出力する。【選択図】図1
