PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic operation system for suppressing switching to a manual operation by an unintentional manual operation handling of a driver in a case where there is a manual operation handling during automatic operation control.SOLUTION: An automatic operation system, for use in switching to a manual operation from an automatic operation in a case where there is a manual operation handling during automatic operation control, performs: determining whether it is in a state where a driver can start a manual operation during automatic operation control of a vehicle (S32); setting a second operation switchover threshold that is larger than a first operation switchover threshold in a case where it is determined to be not in a state allowing the driver to start a manual operation (S36), where an operation switchover threshold is set so as to be more difficult to switch to the manual operation compared to a case of the state allowing the driver to start the manual operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6

    【課題】自動運転制御中に手動運転操作があった場合に、運転者の意図しない手動運転操作による手動運転への切り替りを抑制する自動運転システムを提供すること。【解決手段】自動運転制御中に手動運転操作が行われた場合に自動運転から手動運転への切替を行う自動運転システムであって、車両の自動運転制御中に運転者が手動運転開始できる状態であるか否かが判定され(S32)、運転者が手動運転開始できる状態でないと判定された場合には第1の運転切替閾値より大きい第2の運転切替閾値が設定され(S36)、運転者が手動運転開始できる状態であると判定される場合と比べて手動運転へ切替をさせにくくするように運転切替閾値が設定される。【選択図】図6
