PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road environment recognition device capable of recognizing a lane mark on a road in which a solid object is provided at a border of a lane and the lane mark cannot be provided, along with a vehicle controller using the road environment recognition device and a vehicle control method.SOLUTION: A road environment recognition device includes a recognition part 34 which recognizes a solid object that is provided along a lane where a vehicle is positioned, and a virtual line setting part 36 in which a virtual line which runs along the solid object is set closer to a lane side than to the solid object which is recognized by the recognition part 34 and the virtual line is considered as a lane mark.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
