PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator emergency stop device capable of bringing a wedge member into a full surface contact state with respect to a guide rail as quickly as possible in an emergency.SOLUTION: In an emergency device, both inclined surfaces 92A of wedge members 86, 88 moving upward are guided by a guide surface, the wedge members 86, 88 run obliquely toward a guide rail 26, and both fastening surfaces 92A come into contact with surfaces 26A, 26B to be fastened in an emergency. It includes a constitution in which before and after both fastening surfaces 92A coming into contact with the surfaces 26A, 26B to be fastened, both fastening surfaces 92A become swingable in the horizontal direction around a virtual vertical axis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】非常時に、ガイドレールに対しくさび部材を可能な限り速やかに全面接触の状態とすることができるエレベータ用非常止め装置を提供すること。【解決手段】非常時に、上方へ移動されるくさび部材86,88の両傾斜面92Aが案内面に案内されて、くさび部材86,88がガイドレール26に向かって斜行し、両締付面92Aが被締付面26A,26Bに接触する非常止め装置において、両締付面92Aが被締付面26A,26Bに接触する前後に亘って、両締付面92Aが仮想垂直軸を中心に水平方向に首振り自在となる構成を備えることとした。【選択図】図3
