PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle and a control method therefor such that while regeneration efficiency in a high speed travel is improved as compared with the conventional art, a fuel consumption is reduced without stopping a steering assist in an auto-cruising mode, and further a chance to start a diesel engine due to a pressure drop in an air tank is reduced to improve fuel economy.SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle comprises a speed reduction mechanism 30 which connects a propeller shaft 25 to a rotary shaft 32 of a motor generator 33 and a driving shaft 46 of a second power steering pump 45 respectively, and a switching device which switches a supply source for a power steering fluid 51 from a first power steering pump 40 to the second power steering pump 45, and a controller 80 is configured to perform control to operate an engine brake and also to forcibly operate an unloader valve 62 when pressure pt drops below a pressure determination value pc during speed reduction in an inertial travel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】従来よりも高速走行時における回生効率を向上しつつ、オートクルーズモードにおける惰性走行中に操舵アシストを停止することなく、燃料消費量を削減し、さらに、エアタンクの圧力低下に伴うディーゼルエンジンの始動の機会を低減して、燃費を向上できるハイブリッド車両及びその制御方法を提供する。【解決手段】プロペラシャフト25をモータージェネレーター33の回転軸32及び第2パワステポンプ45の駆動軸46のそれぞれに接続する減速機構30と、パワステフルード51の供給源を第1パワステポンプ40から第2パワステポンプ45に切り換える切換装置とを備え、制御装置80を、惰性走行中の減速している間に、圧力ptが圧力判定値pc以下になったときに、エンジンブレーキを作動させると共にアンローダーバルブ62を強制的に作動させる制御を行う構成にした。【選択図】図1
