PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body structure of an automobile side part which can be reinforced in a box shape even if a hinge reinforcement is not thick in thickness, and prevents an increase of the weight of a front pillar and the enlargement of a shape by efficiently performing load transmission and distribution by collecting a collision load at a small overlap collision which is inputted from a vehicle body side part to a front of a door load transmission member.SOLUTION: An inward-opening U-shaped hinge reinforcement 70 in a vehicle width direction at a rear facing part of an apron reinforcement 18 is arranged in a hinge pillar 4, and in the hinge reinforcement 70, a rear-side flange in which an inside flange 76 between an upper wall 71 and a lower wall 72 is extended while linearly inclining to the outside of a rear part from a connecting region of a cowl panel 50 or a dash reinforcement 53, and which is bent to at least either of the upper wall 71 and the lower wall 72, and a rear-side flange 73F which is bent to a sidewall 73 to which a door hinge 6 is fixed are superimposed on each other in a position in which the rear-side flanges oppose a door load transmission member 84 which is located in a door 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
