PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic carrier making it easy to introduce into a relatively small-scale conveyance system.SOLUTION: An automatic carrier 1 is a combination of a tow car 2 and a conveyance carrier 10. The tow car 2 has individually drivable right and left driving wheels 211, coupling pins 31A and 31B that can protrude at coupling positions at which it is possible to couple the conveyance carrier 10, an energizing means for energizing the coupling pins 31A and 31B toward the coupling positions, and a restriction means for restricting the coupling pins 31A and 31B at their respective retreat positions. The conveyance carrier 10 is provided with a bottom surface that allows communication with coupling holes 41 and 42 that respectively accommodate therein the coupling pins 31A and 31B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
