PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering machine capable of fixing a rudder plate if an instruction to maintain a rudder plate position is issued even when feedback control of a direction of the rudder plate is not performed, and a steering gear.SOLUTION: A steering machine 16 for rotating a rudder plate by rotating a steering shaft 14 comprises: a steering lever 20; a first cylinder 26 and a second cylinder 28; a hydraulic oil supply device 24; a hydraulic circuit 25; a main valve 42 which is installed at the hydraulic circuit and switched between a connection state of connecting the first cylinder, the second cylinder, and the hydraulic oil supply device with the hydraulic circuit and a disconnection state of disconnecting the connection between the first cylinder, the second cylinder, and the hydraulic oil supply device with the hydraulic circuit, and cutting off a hydraulic oil to the first cylinder and second cylinder side; and a switch control unit 44 for switching the main valve between the connection state and the disconnection state. The switch control unit does not perform feedback control corresponding to the position of the rudder plate, and switches the main valve to the disconnection state when the rudder plate is detected to be in a fixed state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】舵板の向きのフィードバック制御を行わない場合であっても舵板位置を維持する指示が出ている場合、舵板を固定することができる舵取機及び操舵装置を提供する。【解決手段】舵軸14を回動させて舵板を回動させる舵取機16であって、舵柄20と、第1シリンダ26と第2シリンダ28と、作動油供給装置24と、油圧回路25と、油圧回路に設置され、第1シリンダ及び第2シリンダと作動油供給装置とを油圧回路によって接続する接続状態と、第1シリンダ及び第2シリンダと作動油供給装置との油圧回路を遮断し、第1シリンダ及び第2シリンダ側への作動油を遮断する遮断状態とを切り換えるメインバルブ42と、メインバルブによる接続状態と遮断状態とを切り換える切換制御部44と、を備え、切換制御部は、舵板の位置に応じたフィードバック制御を行っておらず、かつ、舵板を固定する状態であることを検出した場合、メインバルブを遮断状態とする。【選択図】図2
