PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress rubber chipping by making draw resistance of a sipe plate small in tire form removal with respect to a tire such that a sipe is partially made small in groove width so as to suppress a land part from deforming in tire grounding.SOLUTION: A land part 16 provided to a tread of a pneumatic tire is provided with a sipe 18. The sipe 18 consists of a wide-width part 20 having a groove width W1 and a narrow-width part 22 having a groove width W2 narrower than the groove width W1. The wide-width part 20 extends in a sipe depth direction D at both end parts in a sipe length direction L and also extend in the sipe length direction L at an upper end part (the side of an opening 24) in the sipe depth direction D. The narrow-width part 22 has three sides, which are both sides in the sipe length direction L and the side of the opening 24 in the sipe depth direction D, surrounded by the wide-width part 20, and extends up to a sipe bottom 26.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】タイヤ接地時における陸部の変形を抑制するべくサイプの一部の溝幅を小さくしたものにおいて、サイプ板の破損を抑制しつつ、タイヤ脱型時のサイプ板の抜き抵抗を小さくしてゴム欠けを抑制する。【解決手段】空気入りタイヤのトレッドに設けられた陸部16にサイプ18を設ける。サイプ18は、溝幅W1を持つ幅広部20と、溝幅W1よりも小さい溝幅W2を持つ幅狭部22とで構成される。幅広部20は、サイプ長さ方向Lの両端部においてサイプ深さ方向Dに延在するとともに、サイプ深さ方向Dの上端部(開口24側)においてサイプ長さ方向Lに延在する。幅狭部22は、サイプ長さ方向Lの両側とサイプ深さ方向Dの開口24側との三方を幅広部20により取り囲まれ、かつサイプ底26まで延在する。【選択図】図3
