PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a new speed control method, without requiring to store a roadway condition in an on-board device.SOLUTION: A ground device 10 transmits travel control information 40 of including section ID of an inner section of a corresponding section, a starting end allowable speed Vand the stating end allowable speed length Lto a rail in the respective sections. An on-board device 30 determines a checking speed Vin a travel position Lbased on the travel control information 40 received from the rail. When a starting end allowable speed Vof an on-rail section is a stating end allowable speed Vor less of the next section, this starting end allowable speed Vis set as the checking speed V. When the starting end allowable speed Vof the on-rail section is larger than the starting end allowable speed Vof the next section and the travel position Lfalls within a range of the starting end allowable speed length L, the starting end allowable speed Vis set as the checking speed V, and when falling on the outside of the range, the checking speed Vcorresponding to the travel position Lis calculated according to a predetermined calculation formula for decelerating at a predetermined deceleration β from the starting end allowable speed Vof the on-rail section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】車上装置において線路条件を記憶する必要のない、新たな速度制御方式を提案すること。【解決手段】地上装置10は、各区間に当該区間の内方区間の区間ID、始端許容速度Vs、始端許容速度長Lnを含む走行制御情報40をレールに送信する。車上装置30は、レールから受信した走行制御情報40をもとに、走行位置Lxにおける照査速度Vxを決定する。在線区間の始端許容速度Vsaが次区間の始端許容速度Vsb以下の場合には、この始端許容速度Vsaを照査速度Vxとする。在線区間の始端許容速度Vsaが次区間の始端許容速度Vsbより大きく、走行位置Lxが始端許容速度長Lnaの範囲内ならば、始端許容速度Vsaを照査速度Vxとし、範囲外ならば、在線区間の始端許容速度Vsaから所定の減速度βで減速する所定の算出式に従って走行位置Lxに対応する照査速度Vxを算出する。【選択図】図1
