PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular drive apparatus capable of appropriately eliminating a difference between power input into a toroidal-type stepless transmission and required power.SOLUTION: A vehicular drive apparatus includes: an internal combustion engine for outputting power for a vehicle travels with; a toroidal-type stepless transmission for outputting at least the output of the engine by speed changing the output; a motor, disposed on an input side of the stepless transmission, for generating an auxiliary output for assisting the output of the engine and performing a regeneration operation using at least a portion of the output of the engine as power; a required power derivation part for deriving required power that is required as power for the input side of the stepless transmission; an output detection part for detecting the output of the engine; and a control part for controlling driving of the motor on the basis of a given drive control rule so that a difference between power input into the stepless transmission and the required power come close to zero ("0"), if there is a power deviation that is a difference of the required power relative to the output of the engine. The drive control rule includes: a first control rule in the case of a sign of the power deviation being positive; and a second control rule in the case of the sign thereof being negative.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】トロイダル型無段変速機に入力される動力と要求動力との差分を適切に解消することができる車両用駆動装置を提供する。【解決手段】車両用駆動装置は、車両が走行するための動力を出力する内燃機関と、少なくとも内燃機関の出力を変速して出力するトロイダル型無段変速機と、当該無段変速機の入力側に設けられ、内燃機関の出力を補助する補助出力の発生及び内燃機関の出力の少なくとも一部による回生動作を行う電動機と、無段変速機の入力側の動力として要求される要求動力を導出する要求動力導出部と、内燃機関の出力を検出する出力検出部と、内燃機関の出力に対する要求動力との差分である動力偏差が存在するとき、無段変速機に入力される動力と要求動力との差分が0に近づくよう、所定の駆動制御則に基づき電動機の駆動を制御する制御部とを備える。駆動制御則には、動力偏差の符号が正である場合の第1制御則と、動力偏差の符号が負である場合の第2制御則とが含まれる。【選択図】図1
