PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railway coupler disengagement prevention device and a railway coupler disengagement prevention method which prevents a railway coupler from carelessly being disengaged.SOLUTION: A railway coupler disengagement prevention device 11 is installed on a railway coupler 15 which is coupled by engaging knuckles with each other, moving a lock to a locking position and fastening the knuckles, and releases the coupling by moving the lock to a lock-saving position and releasing the fastening of the knuckles. The railway coupler disengagement prevention device 11 includes a lever 21 interlocked with the lock and a fastening part 37 which can fasten the lever 21. Therein, when the lever 21 is located on a first position, the lock is located on the locking position and, when the lever 21 is located on a second position, the lock is located on the lock-saving position. In such a configuration, the railway coupler 15 is coupled to another railway coupler and, thereafter, the lever 21 located on the first position is fastened by the fastening part 37. As the result, the lock located on the locking position is prevented from carelessly being moved to the lock-saving position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7

    【課題】 鉄道用連結器が不用意に外れることのない鉄道用連結器外れ防止装置及び鉄道用連結器外れ防止装置を提供する。【解決手段】 鉄道用連結器外れ防止装置11は、ナックルを噛み合わせ、錠を錠掛け位置に移動させてナックルを固定することで連結され、錠を錠控え位置に移動させてナックルの固定を解除することで連結が解除される鉄道用連結器15に設置される。鉄道用連結器外れ防止装置11は、錠に連動するレバー21と、レバー21を固定することができる固定部37とを備えている。尚、レバー21が第1の位置にあるときに、錠は錠掛け位置にあり、レバー21が第2の位置にあるときに、錠は錠控え位置にある。このような構成において、鉄道用連結器15を他の鉄道用連結器に連結した後、第1の位置にあるレバー21を固定部37で固定する。そうすると錠掛け位置にある錠が不用意に錠控え位置に移動することはない。【選択図】 図7
