PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve turning performance even when a heat engine that has time-lag of input-output is used for a power source of a propeller.SOLUTION: In a ship 100, the same number of propellers 11, 21 are arranged at both right and left side sandwiching an axis between bow and stern in which power devices 12, 22 are heat engines and used as power source, and rudder plates 13, 23 are arranged at the rear side of the propellers 11, 21. A turn control device 40 controlling the ship 100 controls injection quantity of the power devices 12, 22 or elevation angle of the rudder plates 13, 23 on the basis of a steering command so that lift force generated in the rudder plates 13, 23 arranged at inner side of the rotation is smaller than that in the rudder plates 13, 23 arranged at outer side of the rotation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】推進器の動力源に入出力の時間遅れを有する熱機関を用いる場合にも、旋回性能を向上させる。【解決手段】船舶100には、船体の船首船尾軸を挟む左右両側に、熱機関である動力装置12、22を動力源とする同数の推進器11、21が設けられ、当該推進器11、21の後方に舵板13、23が設けられる。船舶100を制御する旋回制御装置40は、操舵指令に基づいて、旋回内側に設けられた舵板13、23に生じる揚力が、旋回外側に設けられた舵板13、23に生じる揚力より小さくなるように動力装置12、22の燃料噴射量または舵板13、23の迎角を制御する。【選択図】図1
