PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control unit capable of recognizing whether a vehicle travel is a short-distance travel without increasing user's operation burden such as an operation for setting of a destination.SOLUTION: A vehicle control unit comprises: a schedule-information acquisition unit acquiring schedule information on a user; an estimation unit estimating a destination on the basis of the acquired schedule information; a current-position acquisition unit acquiring a vehicle current position; a database 12b storing travel route patterns each from a departure to a destination along which a vehicle previously traveled; a search unit searching a travel route pattern from a departure to the estimated destination while assuming the current position as the departure and referring to the database 12b; a travel-distance acquisition unit acquiring a travel distance on the travel route; a determination unit determining whether the travel distance is below a predetermined value; and an information generation unit generating short-distance travel information reflected in the fact that the travel distance is below the predetermined value when the travel distance is below the predetermined value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】目的地の設定操作のような、ユーザの操作負荷が増大することなく、短距離走行かどうかが分かる車両用制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】ユーザのスケジュール情報を取得するスケジュール情報取得部と、取得したスケジュール情報に基づき、目的地を推定する推定部と、車両の現在位置を取得する現在位置取得部と、車両が過去に走行した、出発地から目的地までの走行経路パターンを記憶するデータベース12bと、現在位置を出発地とし、データベース12bを参照して、出発地から推定した目的地までの走行経路パターンを検索する検索部と、走行経路の走行距離を取得する走行距離取得部と、走行距離が所定値を下回るか否かを判定する判定部と、走行距離が所定値を下回るとき、所定値を下回る旨を反映した短距離走行情報を生成する情報生成部と、を備える。【選択図】図1
