PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for preventing a splashed lubricant from leaking from the inside of a vehicular motor drive device to the outside over a breather structure.SOLUTION: The vehicular motor drive device includes: a breather passage (Q) that is provided in casings (21a, 21r, 22a and 22r) forming an outer shell; an inlet hole (48m) that is provided at an inlet side of the breather passage and connected with an internal space (L) defined by the casings; an outlet hole (67) that is provided at an outlet side of the breather passage and connected with an outer space of the casings; and obstacles (24, 25 and 26) which are erected on an inner wall surface of the breather passage and prevent the lubricant in the internal space from moving straight from the inlet hole to the outlet hole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
