PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a PM generation amount and deterioration in fuel consumption when OFF operation and ON operation of an accelerator pedal are repeated.SOLUTION: A hybrid work vehicle comprises: travelling motors 7F, 7R for providing travelling drive torque for wheels; a generator motor 5 driven by an engine 1; a hydraulic pump 9, driven by being mechanically connected with the engine 1 and the generator motor 5, for supplying pressure oil to drive hydraulic actuators 13, 14; an operation member 31 for indicating the drive amount of the hydraulic actuators 13, 14; and a main controller 100 for controlling the rotation speed of the engine 1 based on a pressure oil flow amount required from the hydraulic pump 9 according to the operation amount of the operation member 31 and the travelling drive torque required from the travelling motors 7F, 7R. During deceleration, the main controller 100 reduces the engine rotation speed at a smaller ratio than the ratio at which the engine rotation speed is reduced when decelerating the engine with no load.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
