PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately secure the power storage amount of a battery required for performing idling stops, and suppress unnecessary charging of the battery, improving fuel economy.SOLUTION: A vehicle control apparatus performs: calculating an auxiliary-equipment current volume to be used in vehicle-incorporated auxiliary equipment; calculating a stop time ratio of a vehicle on the basis of a vehicular travel history to derive estimated stop time of the vehicle estimated on the basis of the stop time ratio; setting an SOC threshold on the basis of the estimated stop time and an estimated consumption current volume calculated from the auxiliary-equipment current volume; and operating a generator incorporated in the vehicle so that the battery power storage state recovers to the state of exceeding the SOC threshold in a case where the battery power storage state is less than the SOC threshold.

    【課題】アイドリングストップの実行に要するバッテリの蓄電量を適切な状態で確保するとともに、必要以上のバッテリへの充電を抑制し、燃費性能の向上を図る。【解決手段】車両に搭載の補機で使用される補機電流量を算出する。車両の走行履歴に基づいて車両の停車時間率を算出し、停車時間率に基づいて推定される車両の推定停車時間を導出する。推定停車時間および補機電流量から求められる推定消費電流量に基づいてSOC閾値を設定する。バッテリの蓄電状態がSOC閾値を下回る場合にバッテリの蓄電状態がSOC閾値を上回る状態まで回復するように車両に搭載の発電機を動作させる。【選択図】図3
