PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular steering apparatus capable of accurately determining whether a motor related to a vehicular steering is in overload.SOLUTION: A vehicular steering apparatus 11 includes: a steering reactive force generation device 15 having a steering reactive force motor 16; a wheel-steering device 17 having a wheel-steering motor 29; a clutch device 19 having an electromagnetic solenoid 37 for mechanically connecting, or disconnecting, between the steering reactive force generation device 15 and wheel-steering device 17; a wheel-steering motor temperature sensor 54 for detecting a motor temperature value of the wheel-steering motor 29; a current integration value obtainment part 61 for obtaining an integration value of a current related to the wheel-steering motor 29; an abnormality diagnosis part 63 for diagnosing whether the wheel-steering motor temperature sensor 54 is normal; and a drive control part 65 for drive-controlling the electromagnetic solenoid 37 on the basis of the integration value of the current related to the wheel-steering motor 29, the value obtained by the current integration value obtainment part, in a case where the abnormality diagnosis part 63 diagnoses that the wheel-steering motor temperature sensor 54 is abnormal.

    【課題】車両の操舵に関するモータが過負荷状態にあるか否かの判定を適確に遂行可能な車両用操舵装置を提供する。【解決手段】車両用操舵装置11は、操舵反力モータ16を有する操舵反力発生装置15と、転舵モータ29を有する転舵装置17と、操舵反力発生装置15及び転舵装置17の間を機械的な連結状態にし又は切離状態にする動作を行う電磁ソレノイド37を有するクラッチ装置19と、転舵モータ29のモータ温度値を検出する転舵モータ温度センサ54と、転舵モータ29に係る電流の積算値を取得する電流積算値取得部61と、転舵モータ温度センサ54が正常か否かの診断を行う異常診断部63と、異常診断部63が、転舵モータ温度センサ54が異常状態にある旨の診断を下した場合に、電流積算値取得部で取得した転舵モータ29に係る電流の積算値に基づいて、電磁ソレノイド37の駆動制御を行う駆動制御部65と、を備える。【選択図】図1
