PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front lower part structure of a passenger compartment which prevents electric components etc. from getting wet by a liquid flowing out and thereby prevents failure of the electric components etc. from being caused by the liquid wetting the electric components etc. even when the liquid flows out from a beverage container etc. in a tilt state.SOLUTION: An instrument panel 6 includes: a center panel 11 located at a center part in a vehicle width direction; and a lower panel member 37 located below the center panel 11 and is erected at the front side of a passenger compartment. The center panel 11 includes a water receiving recessed part 17 which is recessed inclining from an opening 18 to the front lower side. The lower panel member 37 includes a water receiving groove 22 extending in the vehicle width direction. A gear control cover 8 has a drink holder 21 and extends from a lower part of the instrument panel 6 to the rear side. A front region 29 of an upper cover panel 23 of the gear control cover 8 covers the water receiving groove 22 from above in an area below the water receiving recessed part 17. In a tilt state, the opening 18 of the center panel 11 is disposed below a mouth part 51 of a predetermined beverage container 50 supported by the drink holder 21 in a substantially vertical direction.
【課題】チルト状態で飲料容器等から液体が流出しても、流出した液体による電装部品等の水濡れを防止して水濡れによる電装部品等の故障を防止する。【解決手段】インストルメントパネル6は、車幅方向中央部のセンターパネル11と、センターパネル11の下方の下パネル部材37とを含み、車室内の前方で起立する。センターパネル11は、開口18から前下方へ傾斜して凹む水受け凹部17を有する。下パネル部材37は、車幅方向に延びる水受け溝22を有する。ギアコンカバー8は、ドリンクホルダ21を有し、インストルメントパネル6の下部から後方へ延びる。ギアコンカバー8の上カバーパネル23の前方領域29は、水受け凹部17よりも下方で水受け溝22を上方から覆う。チルト状態では、センターパネル11の開口18は、ドリンクホルダ21に支持された所定の飲料容器50の口部51の略鉛直下方に配置される。【選択図】図5
