PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-proof type control unit designed such that the mold structure of a cover or base obtained by a molding process or sheet metal working is simplified and an increase in the length of the body of a connector housing is restricted.SOLUTION: A water-proof type control unit comprising a circuit board 300A mounted on a base 200A and a connector housing 330A positioned and fixed to the circuit board 300A, further comprises: a first sealing gap G1 formed by the connector housing 330A and a cover 400A; a second sealing gap G2 formed by the connector housing 330A and the base 200A; and a third sealing gap (G3) formed by the base 200A and the cover 400A. The first sealing gap G1 is formed by a step inclination-part gap G1b and an outer step flat-part gap G1a and an inner step flat-part gap G1c, communicating with the gap G1b. At least the first sealing gap G1 is provided with a gap setting projection 304 that restricts a gap width. Between the connector housing 330A and the cover 400A, horizontal movement restricting members 352A, 450A that restrict the relative positions of the housing and cover are provided.
【課題】成形加工或いは板金加工されるカバー又はベースの金型構造を簡単化し、しかもコネクタハウジングが胴長寸法となるのを抑制した防水型制御ユニットを得る。【解決手段】ベース200Aに装着された回路基板300Aにはコネクタハウジング330Aが位置決め固定されコネクタハウジング330Aとカバー400Aとによって形成された第一シール間隙G1とコネクタハウジング330Aとベース200Aとによって形成された第二シール間隙G2とベース200Aとカバー400Aとによって形成された第三シール間隙(G3)とを有し、第一シール間隙G1は段丘斜面部間隙G1bとこれに連通した外段平坦部間隙G1aと内段平坦部間隙G1cにより形成され少なくとも第一シール間隙G1には間隙幅を規制する間隙設定用突起部304を設けコネクタハウジング330Aとカバー400A間にその相対位置を規制する水平移動規制部材352Aと450Aを設ける。【選択図】図4
