PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply controller that secures an amount of energy charged to a capacitor, preventing a fuel consumption increase even when occasions of decelerated traveling decrease.SOLUTION: A power supply controller includes: a capacitor 2 into which a generated power supplied from an alternator is charged; a DC voltage conversion section 3 that subjects output voltages from the alternator and capacitor to voltage conversion to be supplied to a load group 9 or a lead battery 8; a first control section 4 that controls a charge operation of the capacitor on the basis of a power generation operation of the alternator; and a second control section 7 that controls an operation of the DC voltage conversion section. The first control section 4 includes a determination section that outputs a determination signal Y if the decrease of occasions of regenerative operations is determined. The second control section 7 includes threshold voltage reset means that increases a discharge threshold voltage of the capacitor from an initial set value on the basis of input of the determination signal.
