PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collision energy absorbing structure of a vehicle capable of suppressing an effect on a passenger at the time of collision, without causing degradation in hand-push rigidity feeling of an instrument panel.SOLUTION: A bottom surface opening part 2 g is formed on a bottom surface 2b of a tray part 2. The bottom surface opening part 2 g is closed from above by a tray plate 3. Front edge parts 3a, 2h of the tray plate 3 and the bottom surface opening part 2 g are connected together by a first engagement structure 4. Rear edge part 3c, 2j are connected together by a second engagement structure 5 which is more easily disengaged than the first engagement structure 4 under a load F toward a front side of the vehicle.
