PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize a loss derived from boost and improve drivability by optimally controlling boost of a battery voltage according to a driving mode relevant to an output characteristic of a drive motor.SOLUTION: A battery control unit of the present invention includes a boost converter 600 that boosts a high-voltage battery 500 and applies the battery voltage to a drive motor 800, a driving mode acquisition unit 302 that acquires a driving mode relevant to an output characteristic of the drive motor 800, an accelerator pedal effort acquisition unit 304 that acquires an accelerator pedal effort, and a boost control unit 306 that controls a target boost voltage for boost, which is performed by the boost converter 600, on the basis of the driving mode and accelerator pedal effort.

    【課題】駆動モータの出力特性に関する走行モードに応じてバッテリ電圧の昇圧を最適に制御することで、昇圧による損失を最小限に抑えるとともに、ドライバビリティを向上する。【解決手段】本発明のバッテリの制御装置は、高電圧バッテリ500を昇圧して駆動モータ800に印加する昇圧コンバータ600と、駆動モータ800の出力特性に関する走行モードを取得する走行モード取得部302と、アクセル開度を取得するアクセル開度取得部304と、走行モードとアクセル開度とに基づいて、昇圧コンバータ600による昇圧の目標昇圧電圧を制御する昇圧制御部306と、を備える。【選択図】図1
