PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a train approach warning system capable of more accurately grasping the position of an operator and issuing a warning.SOLUTION: In a train approach warning system including a transmission device 21 installed at an arbitrary interval along a rail track 10 for converting an information signal from a transmission line 20 to a radio signal and transmitting the radio signal and a portable terminal 30 capable of issuing a warning when a train 11 is approaching, a guidepost is provided at any point along the rail track, in which position information on a map depicting the rail track is recorded as unique information. The portable terminal 30 includes warning output means, radio signal receiving means, and reading means capable of reading the unique information recorded in the guidepost. Based on the unique information read by the reading means, an operator's position on the map is recognized, and based on a train operation information signal received by the radio signal receiving means, it is determined that the train 11 is approaching on the rail track in the neighborhood of the position of the portable terminal 30, and a warning is issued.

    【課題】作業員の位置をより正確に把握して警報を発することができる列車接近警報システムを提供する。【解決手段】線路10に沿って任意の間隔で設置され伝送路20からの情報信号を無線信号に変換して送信する送信装置21と、列車11が接近している際に警報を発生可能な携帯端末30とを備えた列車接近警報システムにおいて、線路沿線のいずれかの地点に、線路を記述した地図上での位置情報が固有情報として記録されている道標を設ける。携帯端末30は、警報出力手段と無線信号受信手段と前記道標に記録されている固有情報を読み取り可能な読取手段とを備え、読取手段によって読み取られた固有情報に基づいて地図上での自己位置を認識し、無線信号受信手段が受信した列車運行情報信号に基づいて携帯端末30の位置近傍の線路上で列車11が接近していることを判定して警報を発生する。【選択図】図1
