PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately evaluate vibration performance of a tire.SOLUTION: An evaluation method for vibration performance of a tire is provided for evaluating a projection raised from a road surface by use of a computer. The evaluation method includes: a step S1 in which a tire model formed by modeling a tire is input into the computer; a step S2 in which a road surface model formed by modeling a road surface is input into the computer; and a simulation step S4 in which the tire model is rolled on the road surface model, and a physical amount concerning vibration of the tire is calculated. The road surface model has a projection model formed by modeling the projection, and the simulation step S4 includes a changing step in which after the tire model gets over the projection model, the road surface model is changed into a road surface model having no projection model.

    【課題】タイヤの振動性能を正確に評価する。【解決手段】路面から隆起する突起を乗り越えたタイヤの振動性能を、コンピュータを用いて評価するための方法は、コンピュータに、タイヤをモデル化したタイヤモデルを入力する工程S1と、路面をモデル化した路面モデルを入力する工程S2と、タイヤモデルを路面モデルに転動させて、タイヤの振動に関する物理量を計算するシミュレーション工程S4とを含んでおり、路面モデルは、突起をモデル化した突起モデルを有しており、シミュレーション工程S4は、タイヤモデルが突起モデルを乗り越えた後に、路面モデルを、突起モデルのない路面モデルに変更する変更工程を含んでいる。【選択図】図5
