PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide appropriate auxiliary power in response to the type of a truck connected to a vehicle body and/or the number of trucks in a power-assisted vehicle to which the truck can be connected.SOLUTION: A power-assisted vehicle 10 according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a vehicle body 12 in which a passenger rides and to which a truck 14 can be connected; a control unit 120 controlling an assist ratio that is a ratio of tread force of the passenger to auxiliary power; a motor 102 generating the auxiliary power in response to the tread force and assist ratio; and a detection unit 140 detecting a type of the truck 14 connected to the vehicle body 12. The control unit 120 changes the assist ratio or an upper limit of a range of varying the assist ratio on the basis of at least the detected type of the truck 14.
