PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure that two structure surfaces in contact generally at right angle, such as a slide plate and a partition wall in a frame of a ship engine, can be reinforced with a simple, inexpensive configuration at a weld quantity as small as possible.SOLUTION: A reinforcement structure RA bonds reinforcement members 40 to a corner portion C between a first structure surface 14a and a second structure surface 33a of a reinforcement target object 3 in contact with each other generally at right angle, thereby improving the rigidity of the first structure surface 14a and that of the second structure surface 33a. Each reinforcement member 40 is a metallic plate that includes a plurality of corners 40a to 40d, two out of the corners 40a to 40d, for example, the corners 40a and 40b are bent or curved to be closer to each other, the two corners 40a and 40b made closer are struck against the corner portion C, and outer edges 40x and 40y each adjacent to both sides of the corner 40a or 40b are welded to the first structure surface 14a and the second structure surface 33a, respectively.
