PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle riding type fuel cell vehicle which, by sufficiently supplying cooling air to a fuel cell from an intake air inlet at the front of the vehicle and a rear opening, maintains the performance of the fuel cell, improves the power generation efficiency and prolongs the service life of the fuel cell.SOLUTION: A vehicle body 11 is covered with a body cover which is formed of a front body cover 50 covering the front of the vehicle body 11, a central cover 51 covering the central part of the vehicle body 11, and a rear body cover 52 covering the rear of the vehicle body 11 together with a driver seat 13. A fuel tank 23 is arranged at the vehicle body central part covered with the central body cover 51, and a fuel cell 15 is arranged at the vehicle body rear while being covered with the driver seat 13 behind the fuel tank 23 and the rear body cover 52. There are provided, in the front of the central body cover 51, an intake air inlet opened frontward of the vehicle in the rear of the central body cover 51, a rear opening 75 opened rearward of the vehicle to ensure the sufficient openings for introducing cooling air to the fuel cell 15.

    【課題】車両前方の吸気取入口と後部開口部とから燃料電池に冷却空気を充分に供給し、燃料電池の性能を維持して発電効率を向上させ、燃料電池の長寿命化が図れる鞍乗型燃料電池車両を提供する。【解決手段】車両本体11の前部を覆う前部ボディカバー50と、車両本体11の中央部を覆う中央ボディカバー51と、車両本体11の後部を運転シート13とともに覆う後部ボディカバー52とから構成される本体カバーで車両本体11が覆われる。燃料タンク23は中央ボディカバー51で覆われた車体中央部に配置される一方、燃料電池15は、燃料タンク23より後方の運転シート13および後部ボディカバー52で覆われて車体後部に配置される。中央ボディカバー51の前方に、車両前方に開口する吸気取入口と、中央ボディカバー51の後方に、車両後方に向けて開口する後部開口部75とが設けられ、燃料電池15に冷却空気を導く充分な開口部を確保したものである。【選択図】図3
